The property is located 34 minutes from Sugar Mountain and Banner Elk, 48 minutes from Beech Mountain, and 5 minutes from Appalachian State University. ***-Trash *** Our trash service limits guests to using FOUR (4) Trash bags for the duration of their stay. Any additional trash bags used will result in a $10 charge per bag. Please secure trash tightly and place bags in the trash can on the side/front porch. If you accumulate more trash than two bags and do not wish to pay the fee, you can take extra trash to the Watauga County Landfill located at 366 Landfill Road, just off Hwy 421 in Boone. Monday - Friday: 6:30 am - 7:00 pm (6 pm in winter) Saturday: 8:00 am - 7:00 pm (6 pm in winter) Sunday: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm Closed most holidays
